Tactics Of A Workplace Serial Bully Boss

By ABC

24 July 2013

In the late evening hours of July 22, several Blackhawk helicopters flew low over central areas of the city of Chicago without any lights, startling a number of residents who were not aware of the scheduled military helicopter training exercises.

Not visible on the City of Chicago web site front page, but placed in the Office of Emergency Management’s “News” section―having gone up on that site around 5:30 p.m. CT―was a vague…

Yet there are other species that are going extinct far more rapidly–amphibians. Researchers have made the first ever estimate of how fast frogs, toads and salamanders in the United States are disappearing from their habitats.

Amphibians play an important role in ecosystems. They act as efficient predators of insects and also provide valuable nutrients to creatures further up the food chain. In addition, some play an important role in nutrient cycling.  They’re a constant presence in watery ecosystems, so the new findings are especially worrisome. It turns out that even the species of amphibians presumed to be relatively stable and widespread are declining….
